Barbara Anderman

Barbara Anderman is a member of the Russell Reynolds Associates' Health Services practice. Based in San Francisco, Barbara brings her clients an in-depth knowledge of healthcare operations , working within both for-profit and non-profit sectors. Barbara is also a member of Russell Reynolds Associates' Technology and CIO practices. As a member of the Digital Transformation practice, Barbara specializes in recruiting key digital talent into executive-level leadership roles in specialty areas such as Outcomes and Analytics, Connected Devices and Consumer Driven Health Care. In particular, she focuses on clinical and technology leadership positions in health systems (CIO, CTO, CMIO, Chief Innovation Officer) and other senior level leaders within healthcare technology companies.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds, Barbara was COO of a large, non-profit organization, a Vice President of Operations for a national for-profit, post-acute health services company and a Director of Rehabilitation for a market-leading hospital. In 1998, Barbara began working for a leading global recruiting firm, specializing in healthcare services. She joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 2004.

Barbara received her B.A. from Long Island University and her master's degree from the University of Colorado.
