François Kouroriez is a member of Russell Reynolds Associates’ Financial Services, Insurance and Digital Transformation practices. François specializes in serving the recruiting needs of clients across the global financial services industry with a concentration on leading cross-functional Life, Health and Mortgage insurance executive searches for C-suite roles. Increasingly, François is working with companies across the digital landscape to recruit high impact leaders with expertise in e-commerce, digital marketing, big data and analytics. His focus is both in the US domestic, as well as international markets, leveraging his global cross-industry, digital background.

François recently recruited CEO’s and CFO’s for leading Specialty Insurance companies, as well as cutting edge business process outsourcing and digital marketing firms. François has also helped build global Financial Services companies’ corporate development, sales/marketing, risk, operations and technology teams.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, François spent over twenty years with General Electric, GE Capital, GE Insurance, and Genworth Financial. He graduated from the GE Financial Management Program in the UK and joined the GE Corporate Audit Staff to lead financial and strategic consulting projects across GE’s global business portfolio. He then joined GE Insurance, which later became Genworth Financial, where he took on a broad range of functional leadership roles such as Senior Vice President of Direct Channels Distribution, Global Business Development, Global Sourcing, and Country Risk Management Leader in Mexico and Japan, covering a broad range of Life, Retirement, Health and Wellness products and services. He also held the position of Chief Financial Officer for Genworth Financial's retirement income responsible for fixed and variable annuity products ($25B of assets under management) and wealth management ($20B of assets under management). François is originally from France and has lived and worked in multiple countries throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Education

François graduated with honors from Boston University with a B.A. in political science and a B.S. in international finance, and received his M.B.A. from London School of Economics, HEC Paris, and NYU Stern (TRIUM).
