Grace Cheng

Grace Cheng is the Country Manager for the firm in Greater China. Working across Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, she focuses on the CEO/Board Services and Industrial/Natural Resources sectors, with emphasis on the most senior executive search and assessment assignments for Chinese and western multinational companies at the market entry, fast and consolidated growth phases.

Previous Experience

Grace has 13 years of executive search experience. Before joining the executive search industry in 1996, she headed the Human Resources function for TNT’s China joint venture where she played a key role in the company’s initial growth and later expansion strategies.

Grace has lived in the United Kingdom, where she was a Research Fellow at the London-based think tank, Policy Studies Institute (PSI), where she focused on employment and organizational behaviour research.

Additional Professional Activities

Grace serves on the advisory board of the Chinese Returnee Association of Entrepreneurs.

Education

Grace received her B.A. in English from Beijing Foreign Studies University and her M.A. in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts. She received her D.Phil from the University of Oxford.
