Hans Reus specializes in the following market sectors: Information Technology (hardware, software, solutions, outsourcing, IT services, chief information officers), Business and Professional Services (e.g., consulting, accountancy, law firms, temporary staffing), and Sustainability (e.g., cleantech, climate change, renewable energy). He co- leads the firm’s Business and Professional Services practice.

Recent Client Experience

Hans conducts executive search and assessment assignments with a global, European and Dutch scope. Recent assignments include the appointment of the CIO for a global FMCG company, partners for consulting firms, the CFO of a publicly listed Dutch technology company, as well as the CEO and Supervisory Board for a pan-European non-profit organization.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Hans worked for six years with consulting firm, McKinsey & Company. He managed strategy, organization, post-merger integration and cost-reduction projects in various industries including information technology and renewable energy, both in the Netherlands and in Sweden. Before that, Hans worked with technology companies KPN Telecom and Raychem.

Education

Hans received his M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and his M.B.A. from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, in France. He is fluent in Dutch and English and has a working knowledge of French and German.
