Lawrence Kenny focuses on senior executive search assignments in the technology sector and co-leads the firm's Business and Professional Services Practice. Based in Atlanta, Lawrence has recruited CEOs, CFOs and board members for public companies, and has worked for clients across a range of roles in the consulting, systems integration and BPO and outsourcing industries.

Recent Client Experience

Lawrence's recent assignments within the technology sector include the recruitment of a COO for a global provider of networking solutions for carriers and the recruitment of a Global Life Sciences Practice Leader for a Global Services Provider. Lawrence also recently conducted searches to recruit board members with specific industry and board committee backgrounds for numerous public companies. Lawrence has worked for a major global accounting and advisory firm to recruit partners to lead industry and functional practices within the firm.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2007, Lawrence spent twenty five years in management consulting with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, PwC Consulting and finally IBM Global Services. Lawrence was the General Manager of the Global Telecommunications Industry for IBM Global Business Services, where he was responsible for the definition and execution of IBM's strategy for the global telecommunications industry, especially with regard to consulting services. Lawrence In this role, he frequently met with the most senior executives across the industry and also consulted with key suppliers to the telecommunications industry. Lawrence joined IBM through its acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers' consulting division, where he was also the Global Telecoms Leader.

Additional Professional Activities

Lawrence is the President of the Board of Camp Twin Lakes and is actively involved in numerous other non-profit organizations.

Education

Lawrence received his H.N.D. in finance and accounting from Napier College, Edinburgh and is a member of the Scottish Institute of Chartered Accountants.
