Mary Tydings conducts assignments for the leadership of national and international nonprofit organizations. She is also active in the Government Affairs Practice.
Recent Client Experience
Mary’s recent assignments within the nonprofit area include the recruitment of the leaders of the nation’s two largest foundations, the leader of a major conservation organization and the leader of one of the nation’s largest health charities.
Previous Experience
Mary joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 1984. In 1992, she took a leave of absence to assist the Clinton-Gore transition, working as a Search Manager. She continued her work in the White House before returning to the firm in 1993. Previously, she held several public relations positions, the latest as Producer of “The Larry King Show.” Early in her career, she had experience as an editor and reporter for the Mutual Broadcasting System.
Additional Professional Activities
Mary is a Member of the Board of the Campaign for the Prevention of Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy, and the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI).
Education
Mary received her B.A. from Bowdoin College.
