Dean Stamoulis

Dean Stamoulis leads the firm's Global Executive Assessment Practice. He leads three types of assessment programs for clients: Hiring/Promotion, Succession Planning/Strategic Talent Review, and M&A/Private Equity. He has consulted with clients in financial services, government, healthcare, industrial, technology, retail and consumer sectors. Dean's insights and research have been featured in popular publications such as BusinessWeek and in professional journals such as the American Psychological Association's Journal of Applied Psychology. His recently published book, Senior Executive Assessment: A Key to Responsible Corporate Governance, provides insight into the value of executive assessment in building and developing senior leadership teams. 

Recent Client Experience

Dean's recent assignments include developing thoughtful and thorough approaches to CEO succession, for example for a $5 billion, 5,000 location retailer desiring substantial culture change.

Previous Experience

Dean has 15 years of executive assessment and development experience. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Dean was a Corporate Psychologist and Management Consultant. Previously, Dean worked in the Management Development Center at IBM's world corporate headquarters.

Education

Dean received his B.S. from Brown University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Virginia Tech.
