Harm van Esch

Based in Amsterdam, Harm van Esch co-leads the European Board Services practice. He focuses on executive assignments in the consumer and technology markets and in searches for non-executive directors/supervisory directors across all market segments.

Previous Experience

Harm has more than 14 years of executive consulting experience. Previously, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Berenschot, a management consulting firm in the Netherlands. Before that, Harm was Sales Director Europe with Fokker Aircraft and prior Corporate Sales and Marketing Director for Nedlloyd Road Cargo, one of the leading transport and logistics companies in Europe. Earlier, he had global responsibility for leasing offshore drilling platforms to oil companies. Harm began his career as a management trainee for the Royal Nedlloyd Group.

Additional Professional Activities

Harm is a member of the board of Capri, a leading Dutch cardio rehabilitation institute and board member of the Amsterdam Concert Hall Fund (Het Concertgebouw Fonds).

Education

Harm received his M.A. in corporate law from the University of Leiden. He is fluent in Dutch and English and has a working knowledge of German.
