John Farish

John Farish specializes in technology assignments and leads the firm's activities for the Communications and Convergence Practice. Based in Atlanta, John has conducted search assignments for both communications service providers and hardware and software suppliers for clients ranging from seed-stage financed organizations to global Fortune 100 communications corporations. John is also a member of Russell Reynolds Associates' CEO/Board Services Practice and the firm's Executive Committee.

Previous Experience

John joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 1997 and has more than 20 years of international executive recruiting experience. Previously, John gained experience working for companies with technologies as diverse as wireless (local loop, GSM, CDMA, LTE and 4th generation technologies), cable, satellite, and Internet telephony in the transmission of voice, data and Internet services as well as for their hardware and software suppliers. John began his career at Procter & Gamble and worked briefly for an insurance brokerage firm before entering the executive search industry in 1985.

John received his B.S. in business administration from Auburn University.
