Lyndon A. Taylor

Lyndon A. Taylor is a member of the Financial Services sector and works with clients in banking and investment management, including alternative investments. He is also a member of the CEO/Board Services team and leads the firm’s Diversity practice. Lyndon focuses on executive search and assessment assignments for executive, functional and investment leaders including CEO’s, CIO’s, and CFO’s, as well as leaders of industry and product groups for clients in Asset and Wealth Management and Global Markets and Investment Banking.

Recent Client Experience

Lyndon has worked with both publicly-traded and private-held organizations. His recent search assignments include the Chief Executive Officer of a large asset and wealth management firm, the Chief Investment Officer for a large corporate pension plan, and the Chief Risk Officer for one of the largest financial institutions in the U.S., among other assignments.

Lyndon’s recent board experience includes working with one of the world's largest asset managers to replace retiring board members; a Fortune 500 company to add directors with financial services experience; and the portfolio company of a private equity-backed company to add industry expertise to the board.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Lyndon worked in the Investment Banking Division of UBS Warburg, LLC. Earlier in his career, Lyndon worked in corporate development for Enron, investment banking with Merrill Lynch, and also served in the U.S. Navy.

Additional Professional Activities

Lyndon is a member of the Economics Club of Chicago and serves on the Board of Directors of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.

Education

Lyndon received his B.A. in history and his B.S. in ethnic studies from Southern Methodist University and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business.
