John Hagan

John Hagan, based in Boston, excels at carrying out CRO, CMO, and CFO searches for growth-stage software companies.

Before joining RRA in 2023, John was co-founder of Savage Partners, a boutique executive search firm serving PE-backed software companies, that was acquired by Russell Reynolds Associates. While at Savage Partners, John executed over 150 C-suite searches for PE-backed SaaS companies.

Prior to Savage Partners, John was a Partner at Ramsey Beirne Associates, a recognized leader in retained executive search, serving venture-backed internet and technology companies. John joined Ramsey Beirne in 1993 and successfully led over 100 C-level searches until the successful sale of the company in 2001.

Earlier in his career, John was a co-founder of a financial services software firm and later served as the founding CEO of an NSF-backed software company.
