Thomas Roche

Thomas Roche advises CEOs and boards on search and succession planning across all industries. Based in Munich, he has over 10 years of experience as a strategist and business leader in the renewable energy space, where he has overseen strategy processes, corporate transactions as well as global sales and operations teams.

Over the course of his career, Thomas has developed growth and technology strategies, defined go-to-market approaches for service products and implemented structured KPI-based management processes to track success. He was most recently the head of energy at an electric mobility startup, where he developed energy business models and innovative solutions— from swappable battery systems to charging solutions.

Prior to that, he led Voith Hydro’s global automation and service team, where he supported hydropower owners in operating, maintaining, and overhauling their plants to ensure maximum output. Earlier in his career, he was with The Boston Consulting Group where he advised on strategy, corporate development, and technology projects in the energy, healthcare, and financial industries.
