APAC 

Dai-chi Life

• Brett Clark has been appointed CEO and Managing Director Asia Pacific.
  

• Figen Ulgen has joined Dai-chi Life as Chief Data and AI Officer.

IAG

• Robert Cutler has been appointed as IAG’s Group General Counsel.

MSIG

• MSIG USA is continuing to buildout its platform under CEO Peter McKenna with key hires including Brian Botkin as CUO, Joseph Fitzpatrick as Head of Distribution, Tracey Estes as Head of Casualty Products and Jayson Talor as Head of Product Innovation.

New China Life Insurance Co

• Zheng Yang has stepped down from his role of CFO of New China Life Insurance.

Prudential

• Prudential appoints Anette Bronder as Chief Technology & Operations Officer, joining from KPMG. Solmaz Altin, former head of Technology, transitions focus to Strategic Business Group.

• Kenneth Rappold joins Prudential as Chief Transformation Officer. He previously worked for Manulife, serving as CFO, Asia.
  

• Zoe Hibbert has been appointed as Chief of Corporate Affairs. Reporting to CEO Anil Wadhwani.
  

• Grace Park has been appointed as Prudential’s new Chief Data, Analytics & AI Officer. Grace Park reports to Ashley Veasey, Chief Information Officer.

QBE

• Nicola Schroder has been appointed Group Head of Sustainability at QBE Insurance Group Limited, having previously served as Head of Environment and Transition at QBE.
  

• Rob Kosova has been appointed CEO of QBE's Asia business, previously leading underwriters for QBE's Australia Pacific division. He succeeds Jason Hammond, who is returning to Australia.

Sompo

• Kenneth Reilly has been appointed CEO, Insurance, Asia Pacific at Sompo, while retaining his role as Head of the Tokyo office. He succeeds Daniel Neo, who will retire at the end of the year.

Tokio Marine

• Matthew Shaw has been appointed CEO of Tokio Marine Kiln. He succeeds Brad Irick, who becomes Co-Head International Business for Tokio Marine Holdings. Vivek Syal takes over as CUO.

EMEA

Aegon

• Lard Friese has been re-elected as CEO for Aegon for a further four years.

• Duncan Russell will succeed Matt Rider as CFO. Matt Rider will retire. Duncan Russell joined Aegon as Chief Transformation Officer in 2020.

• Albert Benchimol has been elected as a new non-executive director of the board of Aegon. Aegon also re-elected Corien Wortmann-Kool, Caroline Ramsay and Thomas Wellauer as non-executive directors.

Allianz

• Rich Soja has been appointed Global Head of Marine at Allianz Commercial.

• The CEO of Allianz Risk Transfer Christoph Müller is leaving Allianz. Lara Martiner, currently General Counsel of Allianz Risk Transfer, will take over the CEO position on ad interim basis.

Aon

• Lisa Stevens will transition into a newly created Chief Administrative Officer role overseeing the People Organization, Marketing and Communications, and Public Affairs at Aon.

• Edmund Reese will be appointed EVP and CFO of Aon succeeding Christa Davies, who will become a senior advisor before her retirement. Reese joins from Broadridge Financial Solutions, where he served as CFO since 2020.

Covéa 

• Maud Petit, has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of Covéa Group and CEO of Covéa Coopérations.

• Michael Walker has been appointed Group CFO of Covéa.

Lloyd’s

• Lloyd’s CEO John Neal has been appointed Vice-Chair of Insurance Europe’s Reinsurance Advisory Board.

Mapfre

• José Luis Perelli has been appointed as an independent director of the Board, replacing Antonio Miguel-Romero de Olano, who steps down having exhausted his term limit on the Board.
  

• Juan Bernal has been appointed as Group Chief Investment Officer.
  

• José Manuel Corral Vázquez has been appointed Managing Director of Mapfre Vida and General Manager of the Bancassurance Channel of Mapfre in Spain. 

NN Group

• Robert Jenkins has been reappointed as member of the Supervisory Board for a term of 2 years. His first appointment to the board was in 2016. 
  

• Koos Timmermans has been newly appointed to join the Supervisory Board.
  

• Hans Schoen, who joined the Supervisory Board in 2014 has left following the end of his term.
  

• Erik Muetstege appointed as Chair of the Supervisory Board of NN Bank. He will succeed André Bergen, who is stepping down.

SCOR

• SCOR CEO Thierry Léger have been appointed Chair of Insurance Europe’s Reinsurance Advisory Board.

• SCOR has appointed Claire McDonald as CEO of SCOR Business Solutions, the firm’s large corporate risks insurance unit which was previously known as SCOR Specialty Insurance. Claire McDonald is taking over from Romain Launay, who is leaving SCOR.

Swiss Life

• Patrick Frost has stepped down as Group CEO of Swiss Life, succeeded by Matthias Aellig, previously Group CFO. Marco Gerussi will become Group CFO.

• Jörg Arnold has stepped down as CEO of Swiss Life Germany, succeeded by Dirk von der Crone. Jörg Arnold will become non-executive Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Swiss Life Germany.

Swiss Re

• Andreas Berger is appointed CEO of Swiss Re, replacing Christian Mumenthaler, who has held the role for nearly eight years. Berger previously led Swiss Re's Corporate Solutions Business Unit.
  

• Ivan Gonzalez has been appointed CEO of Corporate Solutions, succeeding Andreas Berger. Ivan Gonzalez, currently CEO Reinsurance China, will join the Group Executive Committee.
  

• Moses Ojeisekhoba, CEO Global Clients and Solutions, will step down from his position and pursue opportunities outside of Swiss Re.

Willis Towers Watson

• Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has appointed Sean Plankey as Global Leader Cybersecurity Software, responsible for commercializing WTW's cybersecurity solutions.

Zurich Insurance

• James Bracken has been appointed as CFO North America, succeeding Peter Hirs, who returns to Zurich Insurance Group in Switzerland as Group Head of Mergers & Acquisitions.
