Developing executives to become thriving board members

While business leaders increasingly appreciate that board diversity improves performance, many boards still lack true racial and ethnic equity. To change this, we’ve partnered with the leading community for senior executives, World 50, to design and run the Next Generation Director program. Next Generation Director is an immersive, year-long executive development and coaching program and community designed to improve board diversity at the world's leading companies.

In 2022, Next Generation Director focused on Black executives. For the second program, which will begin in Spring 2023, women of color will be taking part.

About Next Generation Director

Next Generation Director combines our expertise in board search and effectiveness with World 50’s record of running top-tier executive development and networking programs.

The program includes face-to-face and virtual sessions that cover timely and enduring topics, giving executives the knowledge and relationships to find board roles, show they’re ready to step up, and improve their chances of success. There’s also a facilitated alumni community that nurtures long-term relationships.

An exceptional Advisory Board of world-renowned directors serves as faculty and mentors, offering practical perspectives from the front line of board service. And they use their ongoing experience to help us shape the program's content and curriculum to address the needs of today's boardroom.
