Dr. Aleka MacLellan provides leadership advisory services to executives, boards, investors, and multi-generational families. Professionally certified in both executive and team coaching, she specializes in identifying and developing extraordinary leaders, teams, and organizational cultures.
Aleka has over a decade of consulting experience, having worked independently as well as for established consulting firms ranging from boutiques to large-sized firms. She leverages her psychological insight and business acumen to deliver unique value to her clients in a diverse range of sectors across the globe.
In addition to consulting, Aleka has worked in-house for a conglomerate, small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as a startup. As a corporate leader, Aleka developed the Leadership Team and Culture strategy for J.D. Irving, one of North America’s largest family-owned companies. She has also served in senior not-for-profit leadership roles, including as the National Chair for Shinerama, Canada’s largest post-secondary fundraiser. From a governance perspective, she currently sits on a non-profit board (Cystic Fibrosis Canada) and a national executive committee (Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology) for causes she is passionate about, both personally and professionally.
