Alex Watson

Alex Watson specializes in conducting senior appointments for strategy and management consulting firms, technology services companies, and business services and outsourcing organizations, including global corporates and partnerships, as well as private equity-backed growth businesses. She also works with private equity firms to hire operating partners to drive value in the portfolio. Alex is based in London and works predominantly in Europe and North America.

Alex leads the Business and Professional Services Practice in Europe for Russell Reynolds Associates, as well as the firm’s UK Technology Practice. Alex has more than 20 years of professional experience, joining from another leading international executive search firm.

In her previous role, Alex focused on building management teams for high growth, venture and private equity-backed companies. Earlier, she spent 12 years as co-founder and managing director of her own boutique search firm, which conducted searches across sectors and disciplines for blue-chip technology, consulting, and professional services organizations.
