Dr. Chawla does senior advisory work for private capital, family office, boards and C-Suite. She works with investors/PE firms when they need an evaluation of leadership talent in prospective or acquired portfolio companies. Given their sense of urgency, Dr. Chawla assists the PE or VC firms swiftly identify whether the leadership will be able to deliver on the investment thesis. Once acquired, she also coaches the founders/CEO to adapt to the leadership and growth demands from their investors.
In a similar vein, she works with corporations, family offices, or founders on sensitive succession dynamics. She provides in-depth executive assessment and coaching services.
While she has key specialities in the private capital and financial services industries, she is proud to also serve clients in other industries (e.g., manufacturing, pharma, energy, real-estate and infrastructure). More recently, she has also been called upon to coach the emerging role of Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officers.
Dr. Chawla has been consulting for over two decades. Prior to joining RRA, she was a Partner at Kilberry Leadership Advisors, a firm of management psychiologists who worked exclusively at the top of the house with corporate, family office, and private equity clients. She has also worked for global consulting firms (Manpower, RHR International, DDI, and PWC).
