Esmeralda (Ezzy) Popo

Esmeralda Popo provides clients with industry-leading market insights and tailored advisory services.  Based in Chicago, Esmeralda applies her expertise to our Functional Sector, with a focus on the Financial Officers Practice. She works closely with clients, coaching and advising them through finance operations, M&A, corporate governance and risk management. Over the past decade, Esmeralda has worked with counseling teams in finance such as income taxes, employee benefits, estate/wealth transfer planning, investment planning and insurance.

Esmeralda was most recently a manager and senior consultant at Deloitte for close to six years. During her time, she worked as a trusted client advisor, providing domestic and international transfer pricing and tax advice to multinational organizations across different industries. Over her tenure, Esmeralda was also involved in recruitment efforts, staff development and mentoring and served as the Staff Champion of the Chicago office for a period of two years. Her early career focused on finance and economics.
