Gemma Hodgson

Gemma Hodgson is a trusted client advisor, and a senior member of Russell Reynolds Associates' Board and CEO Advisory Partners Practice. Based in London, she works with boards on key appointments to shape the future of her clients. With over 15 years of experience in board advisory work, Gemma has advised on over 200 appointments to the boards of FTSE 100, FTSE 250, private-equity backed, mutual, and family-owned companies across financial services.

Gemma is also a member of the firm’s Family Enterprise Advisory Practice. Gemma primarily focuses on Chair and Non-Executive Director appointments and CEO succession projects. She also works on a range of broader advisory assignments including board effectiveness, leadership assessment and development, C-suite succession, and culture projects. Gemma advises a range of international and domestic financial services businesses across financial markets, FinTech, market infrastructure, banking, insurance, and asset and wealth management. She has advised several large, listed boards as well as private-equity backed companies and family-owned businesses. She has led several senior assignments across financial services, including cross-border CEO searches across asset classes. She has a real passion for excellent client service.

Gemma joined Russell Reynolds through the acquisition of The Zygos Partnership where she spent seven years focused on board advisory work.
