Ines Affolter

Ines Affolter partners with insurance and social impact clients to identify, recruit, and develop world-class leaders. With more than 15 years of experience in insurance and consulting, she brings deep insight to her clients to help them build best-in-class leadership teams and identify, select, and grow leaders who drive sustainable performance.   

Ines has held multiple roles at Russell Reynolds Associates, most recently as the Chief of Staff to the firm’s regional head of EMEA. In that role, she was responsible for setting regional strategy and supporting business leadership, as well as facilitating cross-regional collaboration and client relations. Prior to that, she worked for the insurance provider Swiss Re, where she was head of the executive office for EMEA following being a senior member of its group strategy team.    

She began her career as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, she focused on performance optimization, growth strategy and strategy review for clients within the financial services industry across Europe and the United States.
