Jamie Hechinger co-leads the Social Impact and Education Sector and serves on the firm's Executive Committee. She focuses primarily on CEO searches, working with board search committees and senior management to optimize the succession planning process for CEOs and critical leadership positions. She oversees executive assessments and advises organizations on governance and board effectiveness through times of transformation, culture change, and succession.
Jamie brings significant experience working with families undergoing generational change across family office, philanthropy and family governance. She has authored and co-authored thought leadership pieces on new philanthropy, founder transitions, as well as a study on the psychometric profile of high-performing social impact leaders in the Stanford Social Innovation Review.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Jamie served as an Associate Director at Atlantic Media, working across The Atlantic Monthly, National Journal and Government Executive publications.
She holds a BA in English from Duke University and completed an executive education program in Leading Professional Service Firms at Harvard Business School. She has earned a Hogan Assessment Certification.
