Kimberly Archer specializes in advising purpose-driven clients across a multitude of industry verticals, with a focus on corporate affairs and communications, leadership succession, and overall team effectiveness.

Based in Washington, DC, she is a member of the firm’s Corporate Affairs, Social Impact & Education, and the Board & CEO Advisory Partners Practices. She leverages her extensive expertise to recruit high-impact CEOs and other key leaders in corporate and external affairs, as well as people and culture. Kimberly has recently led searches for a Chief External Affairs Officer at a leading multi-faceted sports and marketing organization and a Chief Communications Officer for a leading global academic research institution.

Kimberly joined Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA) in 2005 and currently serves as a member of the firm's Senior Leadership Team, responsible for co-leading operations across North and South America.

Prior to joining RRA, Kimberly worked in philanthropy, specifically developing strategic partnerships and corporate alliances for one of the largest US-based public health foundations. She also held multiple roles in communications and marketing with Avon Products, Inc. and Federated Department Stores/Bloomingdale's.

Kimberly holds a BA in Psychology from Hofstra University. She has also completed the Executive Education Leadership program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Kimberly is passionate about child advocacy and protection and has served on the board of Darkness to Light, as Vice Chair and Governance Chair. Following her board service, she remains an advisor.
