Sarah Brooks

Sarah Brooks leads the Academic Health Practice at Russell Reynolds Associates. She partners with prominent academic health systems, NCI-designated cancer centers, medical schools, children's hospitals, and integrated delivery networks on executive search and leadership advisory projects.

Based in Stamford, Connecticut, Sarah specializes in recruiting senior leaders, including CEOs, presidents, deans, department chairs, chief medical officers, board directors, and association leaders. She also advises leadership teams and boards on organizational design, leadership development, and succession planning. In addition, Sarah works with a broad group of healthcare services companies, ranging from Fortune 500 firms to private equity-backed organizations. She serves as a strategic advisor to her clients while providing a rigorous and consultative search process. Sarah began her career at The Advisory Board Company in Washington D.C., where she advised hospital CEOs and physician executives on using performance technology to improve patient experience, quality, and care delivery.
