Alexander Hiller supports CEOs, management teams, and boards to optimize individual, team, and organizational performance by assessing and developing their leaders and teams. Based in London, Alex works across sectors with a particular focus on multinational groups and private equity clients.

Alex re-joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Volkswagen Group where, as a direct report to the CEO, he led top management HR across the group. This included leading C-level recruitment, succession, and talent management, as well as developing the top 400 leaders across the group’s boards and management teams.

Before that, Alex was a managing director at RRA’s London office, where he focused on CEO succession, post-merger integration, and coaching for industrial, technology, financial services, and private equity clients across Europe.

Before first joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Alex was a regional practice leader at another leading global leadership and search firm. He led the Europe, Middle East, and Africa leadership advisory business and was a member of its regional operating committee, working with a range of listed and privately held clients and investors across sectors. Previously, Alex held a range of leadership, strategy, business, and consulting roles at UBS, Deutsche Bank, and McKinsey in London, New York, Munich, and Frankfurt. He started his career as a banking trainee at Deutsche Bank.

Alex holds an EMBA and an executive master’s in coaching and consulting for change from INSEAD, as well as local vocational Bankkaufmann and Bankfachwirt degrees.
